ABOUT ALAN SMITH
I am a successful and experienced sales professional with over 25 years’ experience in the rental industry covering sales, service and operational roles within Power Generation and the HVAC industry. I have managed sales teams locally and nationally as well as working on the operational side of the business. I have a customer focus and ensure all those around me work to same level of customer service. I don’t hide behind issues and firmly believe that communication at all levels is the key to keeping everyone happy. This works both internally with the sales, service and admin functions and externally with the customers. The skills learned during my time with Aggreko in the Operational Excellence Team have served me well throughout my career and I endeavour to practice and implement these skills wherever I work. My role as Head of Sales & Marketing also brought me closer to the day to day running of the business with emphasis on P&L and also product and Media development.
