Defends the individual health information technology initiatives with Congressional staff and with the Joint Staff through the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System. Manages the development and validation process for functional requirements, operational architecture, and concepts of operations for all MHS information technology capabilities. Represents the Department of Defense in Interagency efforts and in multiple national level settings. Serves as information management advisor to MHS Chief Information Officer.
