About Alan Sar Shalom

As a project manager at Shorecrest Construction, I provide leadership, advice, and assistance to field staff regarding materials, sequencing, personnel, and methods of construction. I am responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects. I also review project schedules during weekly meetings and highlight potential challenges that could affect project timeline.I graduated with a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Northeastern University, where I developed a passion for math, science, and technology to solve problems. I have hands-on experience with PlanGrid, Primavera, and Procore, which I used to process submittals and RFIs, manage data governance, and prepare monthly reports. I have also worked as a planning engineer and a operations co-op at Suffolk Construction and Structure Tone, respectively, where I supported project teams with planning and scheduling, confirmed the sequencing of work, and visited job sites to assist project managers. My goal is to continue learning and exploring new skills in a fast-changing and project-based environment.
