With over 38 years of solid mortgage lending experience, Michaels built his career from Account Executive to C-Level Management. Prior to EMM, Michaels served as Vice President of National Wholesale Lending at Cardinal Financial Company. During his tenure, he closed in excess of 6 billion FHA/VA conforming products through a network of mortgage brokers and mortgage bankers. He also developed and managed the broker approval process and branch/wholesale P&L\'s.As Senior Vice President of Northeast Wholesale Operations at Inland Mortgage/Wholesale Lending, Michaels managed in excess of 40 underwriting, sales, pricing, closing, and post-closing personnel. During his five years as a Wholesale Lending Account Executive at Centrust Mortgage/Commonwealth United Mortgage, Michaels expanded the entire mid-Atlantic territory while maintaining broker relationships. Michaels served as Mortgage Broker-Owner/President at Key Mortgage Corporation where he directed sales, investor relations, and Retail Mortgage Loan Originators at John Hancock Home Mortgage.Michaels has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Long Island University and is a member of NAMB and Maryland & Virginia Mortgage Broker Associations.
