ABOUT ALAN ONEILL
As a geologist in the industry since 2002 I have experience of the entire exploration funnel; including basin screening, play fairway evaluation, prospect evaluation and well operations. I am experienced in communicating with project stakeholders including internal leadership, assurance, partners and governments. I have helped BG and CNOOC gain entry into new acreage positions in countries spanning the globe through licence rounds and datarooms. I have a strong mentoring capability and have led projects interacting with geoscientists, reservoir engineers and well engineers, integrating asset and specialist contributions. I am delivery focussed having successfully completed multiple projects in compressed time-frames. I have worked in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams based in the UK, India and Brazil and have worked on over 20 countries around the globe.
