For more than two decades Alan Maskin has focused primarily on the architectural design of cultural projects including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center, Zooraji Park in Busan, South Korea, the Bezos Center for Innovation at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) and the Washington State University Visitors Center, Frye Art Museum and more. His work has been published in a variety of national and international media including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Architectural Record and The Wall Street Journal. In addition to his design work, Alan is overseeing the development of OUTPOST, Olson Kundig’s creative production studio. He also directs and curates the firm’s experimental work space, Itinerant Projects and co-directed [storefront] with Olson Kundig Architects partner, Kirsten Murray.
