Alan is a Director of the Transport and Mobility Planning Technical Discipline within Europe, member of the Leadership Group and Central / SE Region Management Groups.Alan has extensive experience working in the private sector of the transport industry, advising clients on development schemes from the feasibility and master planning stage through to the planning and legal agreement stages including the preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and input into Environmental Impact Assessment. Alan has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from residential, office, leisure, retail and commercial, to waste management, wind farms, mining and minerals. Alan also has experience in negotiations with relevant authorities over planning obligations and adoption procedures, as well as the preparation and attendance at planning appeal hearings.
