After more than 15 years managing and building the Security Department at Synnex I am taking on a new challenge. I am charged with building a new department from the ground up that will mitigate fraud for Synnex and its customers. I am now officially the AFG, the Anti-Fraud Guy. I am also looking for help. Positions in the new department will soon be listed on the Synnex Website. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of all physical security systems, Software House badge access, CCTV systems from Geovision and Milestone, Axis and Bosch, alarm equipment and sensors from Bosch and Tyco. Very hands-on and very technical. Responsible for procurement & contract negotiations for guard services, investigations due to theft, fraud or other security issues, recovery of stolen property including cargo theft and fraud. Leadership role in the mitigation of fraud against our salespeople and our customers. With the involvement of other department management, create effective security processes and procedures that respect the needs of those departments but are consistent with best security practices
