My practice involves the representation of pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigations. I have been litigating Hatch-Waxman cases for more than 20 years, including acting a lead trial and appellate counsel, in litigations encompassing patents covering all aspects of pharmaceuticals, including controlled release dosage form (hydrogels, coated tablets, layered beads and osmotics), salt selection, polymorphs, method of use, pharmacokinetics, adverse events, dissolution, lubricants, surfactants, stereoisomer chemistry and liquid formulations.I have also litigated other patent matters in the fields of specialty chemicals, deicing chemicals, book technologies and polymers.I am also involved in counseling clients in intellectual property portfolios, providing opinions on freedom to operate, trademark matters and technology licensing.
