Developing Inclusive Provision - Designing and delivering sport and physical activity initiatives that cater to the diverse needs of children and young people with SEND, ensuring every child can participate meaningfully.• Partnerships & Research - Leading needs assessments and mapping projects to identify gaps in provision, working with local schools, community groups, and national organisations to expand inclusive opportunities.• Training and Workforce Development - Upskilling staff to improve imclusive delivery through team training, knowledge-sharing, and best practice guidance.• Innovation Projects - Exploring and implementing new approaches to inclusive physical activity and sport.• Funding & Sustainability - Engaging with charity partners, funders, and stakeholders to secure resources that sustain and grow SEND-focused programmes.• Monitoring & Impact - Evaluating the effectiveness of initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure positive long-term outcomes for children and young people with SEND.Lead Inclusion School – Youth Sport Trust:• Championing National Inclusion Initiatives - As the key contact for the Lead Inclusion School network, working closely with the Youth Sport Trust to shape national strategies that enhance PE and school sport for pupils with SEND.• Delivering Specialist Training & Support - Providing schools with practical training, guidance, and best practice models, ensuring they can embed inclusive, high-quality PE within their curriculum and extracurricular programmes.• Embedding Active 30 Across Schools - Supporting schools in implementing 30 active minutes per day, empowering children and young people with and without SEND to take the lead in creating inclusive, accessible activity opportunities.• Increasing Participation & Engagement - Developing strategies to expand SEND participation in PE and school sport, ensuring alignment with a nationally co-created youth engagement framework.
