About Alan Bloom
I have been involved in commercial real estate since 1979. Primarily involved in retail real restate development, leasing and strategy. Many of the projects have been urban mixed use developments that have included department stores such as Dayton\'s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman\'s and Bloomingdales. I have also been involved in other shopping centers that include Target and Kmart. Currently I consult with developers that are working through issues with development such as slow lease up, market awareness, repositioning and redevelopment. Also, I am working in developments for my own portfolio. The most current project is a RV storge facility in southern California. Specialties: Redevelopment and repositioning of existing shopping centers. Negotiations with city staff and elected officals in connection to TIFF, redevlopment funds, etc.
