Seconded to lead organisational restructure and development and complete 2 UPM global projects.• Successfully started Production Tracking and Reporting in project to replace Mill Execution computer system. The first mill to have managed this whilst in full operation.• In July 2005 Shotton converted to a line organisation. I became responsible for all aspects in leading a team of 103 people of all disciplines on a modern paper manufacturing production line.• Area of responsibility includes papermachine finishing area, 2 recycled pulp mills and recovered paper warehouse operations.• Maintained and improved variable cost base despite challenging economic climate.• Achieved the lowest fixed cost production line.• Shared best practice and led the instigation of Total Productive Maintenance on the line.• Worked throughout paper mill with varying roles with increasing responsibility.
