Senior Real Estate executive with extensive experience across asset classes, including office, industrial, land, and multifamily. Strong analytical skills with a track record for leading multi-disciplined teams to achieve successful outcomes while minimizing risk and enhancing value. Began my career as an accountant in a real estate apartment development firm with one location, promoted to both operational and financial management leadership roles and later Chief Financial Officer. We grew the company from 200 to a public company of employees in 38+ US markets, Japan, and London, sold in 2002 to CBRE. I managed 700+ indirect financial, accounting, HR, IT, and management staff. Love real estate as an investment class - leveraged my financial experience, to be the President and Fund Manager for a $400MM horizontal real estate development fund. Hands-on learner in master planning horizontal development. As a fund manager, lead a 500-acre horizontal master plan project, by optioning the land we were able to master plan and permit before the land acquisition, in less than a year we received permits, and completed a simultaneous close netting investment fund a $7.0MM profit in 2007.Moved forward as a COO for a boutique brokerage and development firm managing operations, gained extensive experience in development, financial modeling and investment brokerage. Selected as a court-appointed receiver for several national banks to asset manage and sell the banks\' REO assets. Opened an investment advisory division specializing in real estate advisory and EB-5 immigration. Became the first designated regional center in both SC and NC, raised funds internationally, assisted in landing Proterra Hydro-electric buses in Greenville, which created 200+ local jobs and the company later went public for 1.6 billion. Opened my own firm and continue to provide investment advisory in both real estate, business and fractional CFO service. I enjoy being an instructor in business management, accounting and real estate brokerage as time permits, as well as providing pro-bono services to local community charities.
