I started my career with a focus on database and reporting projects that combined social networking, sales, and marketing together into actionable reports. As a people and technology manager, I learned to translate abstract business and technological concepts into terms and materials that bridge the gap between IT and business, with a particular emphasis on the needs of business units and customers.I have been part of IT teams within several industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, finance and accounting, transportation, and government (State, Federal, DoD). I have lead projects both as a consultant and full-time employee, always focused on the project and customer objectives to guide my decision making. Recently I have been working on building portfolio management and PMO processes.
