Responsible for project management of UK People Plan working closely with People Director to ensure all Centres of Expertise and stakeholders are on track to deliver against core objectives in line with the Corporate People Strategy. Chairing Performance and Change Governance forums, a leadership decision making forum. Actively monitor and research external and internal trends, best practice, risks and opportunities for all people related policies and processes. Develop and maintain structure and process for their timely review. Ensure channels for input and feedback are established and progress on development is transparent for all stakeholders across the business. Publish policies that are robust, openly accessible to all and ones that we can be proud to share externally. Provide assurance to senior stakeholders on compliance and governance for policies and procedures. Establish routines for continuous improvement and simplification. Work cross functionally to ensure that all aspects of the employee lifecycle are covered and that all touchpoints accurately reflect the company position. Represent HR function on the Corporate management of risk, business continuity and data protection. Represent Whitbread at external Policy Network Group to share best practice, respond collectively to Government Consultations on legislation changes and to obtain insight.
