I am a Software Developer and Data Specialist with a Master’s in Data Science from Lancaster University and a background in Mechanical Engineering. My expertise spans full-stack development, data engineering, and applied analytics, allowing me to design scalable platforms, build intelligent data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights for real-world challenges.At the Centre for Energy Equality, I build and manage cloud-based data platforms that support councils and organisations in planning housing retrofits and net-zero strategies. My work involves designing automated ETL pipelines, integrating large-scale geospatial and demographic datasets, and deploying machine learning models to predict energy efficiency for households without EPC ratings. I also design and deliver analytical workflows such as housing archetyping, solar feasibility modelling, and agent-based simulations of energy transitions, alongside interactive geospatial dashboards that make these insights accessible to stakeholders.I thrive at the intersection of data and software, combining strong backend engineering skills with advanced analytics to create robust, efficient, and impactful solutions. Beyond the technical, I value clear communication and collaboration, and I have experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams.Outside of work, I am a regular blood donor, an active volunteer, and a keen swimmer. I am passionate about using technology and data to deliver solutions that not only advance innovation but also create meaningful social and environmental impact.
