ABOUT ALAMJEET KAUR

I started my career as a front end developer maintaining the web application UI. I wanted to move to cyber risk to have a balance of technology and management. My time at Deloitte, i worked on client-facing projects that taught me to understand their problems and how it can be solved. The experience helped me improve my management and leadership skills. My time at DISA helped me learn to lead a team and communicate the expectation with client. At booz allen i worked in a team with no lead. I took it as an opportunity to learn and grow my skillset. I worked directly with my manager and other teams to build an efficient process for the team to track progress, communicate with the client on any emergency requests and set timelines. I also worked on preparing presentations used to present monthly metrics to the client, COR, and BAH leadership. With my present Blue team at BAH - I am passionate about having an efficient work flow process for our teams ensuring better and higher performance. I am currently working with Blue team to scan our systems using ACAS for vulnerabilities and presenting a report to help remediate or lower the impact of threats. I hold active Top Secret security clearance, Security+ and CCNA Certification.
