About Alaina Ford

Development Coordinator for the Dartmouth College Fund (DCF), Dartmouth College.• Graduate of Emmanuel College (Boston), Summa Cum Laude, B.A. in Management and Marketing Minor.Currently, as a Development Coordinator for the Dartmouth College Fund, I help alumni classes raise unrestricted current use funds that provide financial aid for Dartmouth undergraduate students. I directly manage the Classes of 1955, 1956, and 1959 and help support fifteen classes across multiple decades. Working in frontline fundraising has allowed me to form relationships, learn successful fundraising practices, and feel empowered as I positively contribute to the Dartmouth community.Previously, as a student at Emmanuel College, I was given the opportunity to explore my interests and gain a variety of valuable skills through a liberal arts education. I served as Executive President of the EC Programming Team, leading and executing small and large-scale student events that brought joy to campus and created a sense of community within Emmanuel\'s student body. I also worked as a Front Desk Team Lead, overseeing a group of student employees who provided direct customer service for Residence Life. Through my internships with Jobs for the Future and RippleMatch, I gained relevant industry experience in knowledge management, data analysis, talent management, and recruitment.Outside of work, my personal interests include photography, travel, Formula 1, and gymnastics. I strive to continuously expand my knowledge and widen my perspective on life.
