Spearhead the $55M grantmaking program funded by the USDA Forest Service Urban Community Forestry Program, that provides funding and technical assistance to municipalities, faith-based organizations and frontline environmental justice organizations working to advance climate action in disadvantaged communities.•Provide grant administration guidance as the primary contact for fifty-five grantee organizations across various areas of climate justice focus - including tree care, workforce development, and community engagement.• Oversee the entire life cycle of grants and contracts, including proposal development, award negotiation, and post-award management, including monitoring and helping meet sub-grantee and contract timelines, reporting deadlines, and deliverables.•Developed and launched a $20M request for proposal process to award pass-through funding to faith-based and frontline organizations.•Built and operationalized American Forests’ first grants management portal, to fully operationalize the system to support grantee experience through the life of the grant, including pre-award stage and post award stages of monitoring, reporting, and resource sharing.
