About Alaina Kaslewicz
I’m a Master of Public Administration candidate at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where I also earned my B.A. in Political Science. I’m on track to graduate with my MPA in Spring 2026 through the Maxwell 4+1 program. Through my graduate studies, I’m deepening my commitment to public service and policy research. I’m also pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Study in Data Analytics to strengthen my ability to apply quantitative methods and data-driven insights to policy challenges. My experience includes working in legislative and constituent affairs for New York State Assemblymember Pamela Hunter, volunteering on political campaigns, and conducting academic research on political polarization and media. This fall, I am working as a Research Assistant at the Ramos Research Institute, contributing to The Courageous Dialogue Project: Free Speech & Campus Culture. This project examines how free-speech climates on college campuses shape student perceptions of cancel culture, political polarization, and democratic engagement, with the goal of informing evidence-based policy and campus practices.
