ABOUT ALAIN DEMAROLLE

Alain is a financial investor and senior financial leader with a 35+ years global track record, including 25+ years on International capital markets (London, Luxembourg, New York, Paris) as well as 10 years as a senior Government official for France. He is now looking to invest in on-chain & digital finance with a focus on newly regulated entities ( MICA, market infrastructures, payments, banking) where he can add value through his unique network in the European financial industry and act as as bridge between DeFi and TradFi, as well as in new and challenging banking institutions. He most recently invested and joined the supervisory board of Deblock, a leading pan-european onchain bank. Since 2015 he has been a significant shareholder and Chairman of the Board to several European financial institutions including MCS now iQera (20••••25), where he successfully negotiated an agreement on the restructuring of the Group financial indebtedness in 2025 as well as My Money Group ( 20••••20) & Proxinvest ( 20••••23). He notably served in France as Economic and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister and Advisor to the Minister of Finance on SWFs. He is the former Chairman of LCH Clearnet SA. From 2020 to 2022 he was Chairman of the Board & majority shareholder of Proxinvest one of Europe leading proxy agency which was successfully acquired in December 2022 by Glass Lewis.He served from 2017 to 2020 as Chairman of the Board of My Money Bank, an independent French bank focused on retail banking and consumer finance, the First ever bank to be acquired by a financial sponsor in France (March 2017), and of My Partner Bank.He previously founded Alura Capital Partners and served as Chairman of LCH Clearnet SA From 2007 to 2010 Alain Demarolle was based in London as Managing Director for Europe with Eton Park International, a multi strategy fund.From 2005 to 2007 he served as the Economic and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister of France.From 1998 to 2005 he was a senior investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney and Bear Stearns in London and New York, and was involved in a wide variety of transactions.He graduated valedictorian from Ecole Nationale d\'Administration (ENA) as an Inspecteur des Finances and started his career with the French Treasury and the Ministry of Finance (19••••98). Alain also holds an MBA from ESSEC, a Post-Graduate Economics Diploma from Sciences–Po, and a PhD in Philosophy from La Sorbonne University. He has been selected as a Young Global Leader by the Davos World Economic Forum.
