ABOUT AL-SHAHRIAR EVAN

I am a passionate Pharmaceutical & Analytical Scientist with expertise in QC, QA, and regulatory compliance. With an MSc in Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science (Distinction) from the University of Huddersfield and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, I blend academic excellence with hands-on industry experience. My skills include operating NMR, HPLC, GC, X-Ray Diffraction, and PCR for pharmaceutical testing and development. In my role as Product Quality Executive at NIPRO JMI Pharma, I collaborated with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure product quality. I performed comprehensive quality checks, monitored stability, and implemented CAPA, enhancing product consistency. I also developed and validated analytical methods and mentored junior staff, promoting continuous improvement. My MSc research on co-amorphous systems examined manufacturing routes on drug formulations, using advanced techniques and Minitab analysis. As a Research Assistant, I explored genetic polymorphism, gaining proficiency in DNA extraction, PCR, and mammalian cell harvesting. I am detail-oriented, effective in communication, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Achievements include a performance-based scholarship, a poster presentation award, and leading impactful community projects.
