ABOUT ALISTAIR MCLEAN
I\'m a hands-on pragmatic AI data engineer/scientist. I am Databricks Professional Data Engineer and GenAI Engineer Certified and previously AWS Machine Learning and Solutions Architect Certified. I have experience with multi cloud data engineering, data analytics, NLP and ML, data science for business insights and have deployed machine learning pipelines in business and for my own interests with a model self driving car and separately a chatGPT/LLM app. I have architected, built and deployed ELT pipelines in several different industries including medical, auto and martech and have worked with both batch and streaming data. Key strengths include: problem solving, deep technical knowledge; utilising broad technical experience to create innovative high volume and performant ai data analytics, data science, data processing and reporting products; leveraging a demonstrable track record of creating robust, cloud-based data solutions to solve potentially critical challenges with scalable big data architecture in both streaming and batch data pipelines handling billions events/day.I\'m also a father and an occasional gamer and mountain biker.
