Manager On Semiconductor Global Reclamation Organization. We collect manufacturing scrap from all of our factories (front and back ends) and most of our subcons. I have been helping to integrate On’s recent acquisitions into our program. We process all non-ferrous metals and some plastics. We use the top refiners in the world to process our material. I personally witness the destruction of all IP (Intellectual Property, scrap units, silicon, etc) and PM (precious Metals) from receipt at the refiner, to sampling and final processing. We scrutinize all settlements for accuracy. All samples are sent out for analysis at our lab. Any discrepancies between the refiners assay and our assay may be settled by sending a sample to a third party lab as an ‘umpire’. We also recycle ewaste (computers, printers, phones, small lab equipment, etc). I am a member of American Metals Market, an active participant on the ACTD (Anti counterfeiting, theft and diversion) team with Security, Quality and EHS. Also an active member of On Semiconductors Crisis Management Team.I was Logistics manager for the Americas at Motorola and On Semi for 20 years, managing warehouse operations at 9 locations from Brazil to Canada. I managed Global Compliance (customs) for 15 years. I have managed Global Distribution Centers, JIT and cross dock operations. I’ve worked on several projects with IT, Facilities and Supply Management. I was Purchasing manager for Phoenix Wafer Fabs for 3 years, and managed our Global Reclamation Operation for 12 years. I have been to 16 countries over the years.Specialties: I specialize in managing Inventories/warehouse operations. I also specialize in managing people.
