ABOUT AKSHIT JINDAL

Akshit is currently working at Tyroo (Smile Group) as Lead – Strategic Finance, where he drives FP & A, commercial finance, and strategic initiatives. He has led the development of annual and long-term operating plans, optimized gross margins, and built frameworks that enhanced sales and improved customer risk management. He partners with leadership on M&A, JV, and new product GTM strategy, and has been promoted twice in under 2 years for his contributions.Previously, he worked at Acuity Knowledge Partners (Ex Moody’s Analytics) as an Investment Research Associate, managing a portfolio of 10 companies for a US-based hedge fund, building financial models, and authoring 15+ equity research reports.Before that, he was an Equity Research Analyst at StockGro, where he managed thematic portfolios that outperformed Nifty 50 by 20% and authored in-depth research reports on under-the-radar stocks.He began his career at KPMG Global Services as an Audit Associate, supporting UK clients with financial and accounting reviews, and was rated highly for exceeding expectations.Akshit holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, where he co-founded Equity Monks: The Trading Club, and was an active member of Finomina: The Finance Club and Investment Cell. He completed his B.Com.(Hons.) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.He is passionate about finance, equity research, and strategic problem-solving. Outside of work, he is a stock market enthusiast, avid traveller, trekker, and enjoys sports like cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis, and Formula 1. He is also a reader and podcast listener, always keen on learning new things.
