ABOUT AKSHIT PURI

Postgraduate in Homeland Security with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in biotechnology, security operations, and technology-driven innovation. I bring hands-on exposure across operational security, intelligence analysis, and applied research, complemented by real-world training in critical infrastructure and law enforcement environments.I have worked on IoT-based surveillance and monitoring solutions during my internship at IIT Ropar’s iHub-AWaDH, where I contributed to developing a Cow Health Monitoring System, strengthening my understanding of sensors, data interpretation, and field-level implementation. My academic research background includes molecular characterization of the Lumpy Skin Disease Virus, reflecting strong analytical, forensic, and documentation skills.I gained practical exposure to port operations, logistics security, and SEZ management during my training at Adani Ports & SEZ, providing insight into large-scale industrial security frameworks and operational workflows.Additionally, I completed a 10-day intensive Law Enforcement Training Attachment at the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA), covering:• Physical & operational security• OSINT & intelligence fundamentals• Incident & emergency response• Organized crime & investigation procedures• Forensic documentation• Weapons familiarization & field craftWith a keen interest in corporate security, loss prevention, intelligence analysis, and critical infrastructure protection, I aim to apply technology-enabled and intelligence-led approaches to enhance organizational security and risk management.
