I am a Senior CAE Specialist at Whirlpool Corporation, where I apply my MTech degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology to optimize sheet metal forming processes and tool design for various products. I have over 7 years of experience in the field of design and manufacturing engineering, having worked in leading automotive and home appliance industries.My work at Whirlpool involves sheet metal forming analysis for components to ensure each part is sent to the toolmaker with absolute confidence they are feasible, cost effective, robust and repeatable for production.I also work as a liaison between organizations, conducting supplier process validation and design reviews. In addition, I have a strong working knowledge of PLM tools like Windchill and Team-centre, and surface coating methodologies like porcelain enameling and anodizing.Previously, I worked as an Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where I performed manufacturing feasibility analysis and design for manufacturability of BIW structural parts and closures for AMG cars. I also validated digital buildability for BIW assemblies and sub-assemblies, using various joining methodologies and surface treatment methods. I have international work experience and effective communication skills in German (B2 level), as I frequently collaborated with German counterparts and worked on AMG car lines in Sindelfingen and Affalterbach, Germany.I am passionate about continuous improvement, data visualization, and digital manufacturing and assembly.
