Job Responsibilities: • Undertake literature searches for the project, and interpret and present the findings • Design and review of system requirements including sensors/actuators and control strategies • Explore entirely new concepts and support business-wide technology development • Identify control variables and, develop tools to monitor and control them • Python application development for data processing (NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn), encoding, decoding, hashing, FTP, SQL transactions, and file manipulation • PLC and HMI programming: Siemens (TIA portal), Omron (Sysmac Studio), OPTO22 PAC control, Beijer X2 • Sensors/actuators integration with Fieldbus technology.(Profinet, Profibus, IO-Link, and EtherCAT) • Design and implementation of an ICS/OT network (VPN, Firewall, VLAN, and switches) based on the IEC62443 cyber-security framework • MySQL, MariaDB database administration including replication and optimization • Documentation: URS, FDS, and SDS • Testing and commissioning: FAT and SAT • Working with suitable suppliers for equipment, and services • Provide guidance, supervision, and remote support to multi-national team members
