ABOUT AKSHAY GATTANI
I work as a Principal Applications Engineer at Oracle with the Oracle CPQ team. Previously, I spent two years at Amazon, where I worked first on the Query Processing Management team within Amazon Aurora, and then on the Capacity Management and Model Customization teams within AWS Bedrock. My experience ranged from delving into database internals to contributing to large-scale foundation model infrastructure.Prior to that, I completed my M.S. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, where I explored Theoretical Computer Science and Online Algorithms. My research focused on designing algorithms for fundamental optimization problems in Computational Geometry. Previously, I was a Senior Applications Engineer at Oracle, working with the Oracle CX Sales team.I take pride in the skills that enabled me to design seamless features for the team and to be a proven team player.
