Acts as an escalation point for tickets and alerts needing assistance, planning, or technical work to ensure proper resolution •Provide critical network operations support to diagnose and respond to large networking events. Ensure that issues are resolved successfully. Identify root causes of failure as appropriate •Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure to include, but not limited to: routers, switches, firewalls, access points, ASA’s, VPN’S, load balancers, physical and virtual Windows servers, physical and virtual Unix servers, desktops, laptops, printers/scanners, Netapp SAN, 3par storage, Cisco UCS, ESX hosts, and video and telephony equipment, as require •Debugging and troubleshooting of any IPSec/network related issues VPN access and provide technical escalation and be on call during designated periods •Assess firewall rules for compliance with corporate standards and identify required remediation tasks. Review ACLs and configure/modify it for business relevance. Perform network traffic discovery by analyzing packet capture and Cisco data •Net flow Analysis - Utilization reports, Top IP talkers, Identifying Hikes i.e. Threshold usage and monitoring and implement QoS based on requirements. •Software Management to include, but not limited to: Cisco LiveAction, Solarwinds Orion, IBM NetCool, Service NOW, IT Service Manager, Cisco Mobility VPN Client, Netapp DataFabric Manager, 3PAR Vision, Microsoft Sharepoint, Office suite, Putty, Lansweeper, VCenter, VMWare Horizon, SCOM Operation Console, Service Center, Treesizefree and IR Prognosis •Troubleshoot Server alarms to include, but not limited to: end processes with high CPU utilization, expand disk in a VM, verify if a host is a VM and Run scripts for logical disk space alerts, free space for cluster disk alert, check network redundancy and server down alerts •Coordinate with Vendors, LEC, Client, SLO & partner development team to troubleshoot issues found during circuit-outages and drive for resolution
