ABOUT AKSHAYALAKSHMI S

Hi! I am Akshayalakshmi, an engineering student by day and singer by night, searching for the writer lost in twilight.I am pursuing my Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology at SSN College of Engineering (2023-27), with immense passion for computer science and problem solving. As a student, I prefer practical, application - based learning to plain theory, so I experiment with my mini-projects to achieve the same. The entire journey of solving a problem by giving proper structure to the proposed idea, and translating this to a visible solution gives me immense joy.In addition to my technical pursuits, I find solace and inspiration in music, public speaking and writing. As an artist and author, I try to channel creativity across domains. Being a social butterfly helps me work efficiently in groups, where I find communication and collaboration comfortable. I currently am honoured to perform the roles of a Vice Chairperson, Undersecretary General, Campus Ambassador, Editorial Lead, Development Lead, DSA Sub-head, Student Editor and more across ACM-W, CSI, MUNSOC, GeeksforGeeks Campus Body, Google Developer Groups On Campus, and many other student chapters of my college, all of which involve active participation and co-operation to achieve a greater goal!I aspire to leverage my skills and interests to make a positive impact in the world. I go where my curiosity takes me, and learn from the mistakes I make along the way. To me, every challenge is an answer sheet looking for the right questions, so I am eager to explore opportunities where I can continue to learn, grow, and make a meaningful change!
