I’m currently working with a World’s Largest Refining Complex for their construction division as a HSE engineer I’m mainly responsible for implementation of construction HSE systems. Selection of contractors through prequalification assessments, participation in kick off meetings, monitoring of contractor activities through scheduling monthly audits and inspections, preparation & implementation of risk assessments, monitoring & controlling the implemented work permit system, identifying needs, preparing & conducting various HSE training, carry out accident analysis, investigations, run motivational programs, heat stress management plans, review method statements, procedures before it is being implemented, review, & monitoring the implementation of the various rigging / lifting plans, inspecting site first aid facilities and coordination with all construction departments and line management for active implementation of HSE procedures are the main assigned duties to me. Documentation and compilation of reports are the part of the responsibilities as well.
