As a programming enthusiast and software developer at ShareChat, I love problem-solving and exploring new technologies. ShareChat is a leading social media platform in India that connects millions of users across 15 languages and offers various features such as chat, video, and audio sharing.I joined ShareChat as a software developer in June 2021 and was promoted to SDE 1 in August 2021 and SDE 2 in October 2023. In my role, I contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of the backend services and APIs that power the platform. I also collaborate with other developers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that meet the user needs and business goals. Some of the projects I have worked on include improving the user retention rate by 25%, optimizing the performance and security of the server-side code, and implementing a new feature that allows users to create and join communities based on their interests.I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from AJAY KUMAR GARG ENGINEERING COLLEGE, GHAZIABAD in 2021. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, version control, and GitHub, which I apply to my work at ShareChat. I also participated in various coding contests and challenges, and achieved multiple honors, such as a 5-star rating on Codechef, an expert rating on Codeforces, and a first rank in the college coding contest.My goal is to continue learning and growing as a software developer and a programming enthusiast, and to leverage my skills and passion to create impactful and innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and the social media landscape.
