Core Responsibilities1. Supplier Quality Management Ensure the quality and reliability of interior and metallic components sourced from suppliers. Implement Siemens Mobility’s SQM (Supplier Quality Management) requirements, including preventive actions and supplier qualifications.2. Technical Collaboration Work closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams to clarify and enforce technical specifications. Support the creation and negotiation of Quality Assurance Agreements and ensure their implementation in supplier processes.3. Audits & Assessments Conduct supplier audits and pre-assessments using standards like VDA 6.3 and Siemens’ IRIS-based specifications. Follow up on audit findings and drive corrective actions.4. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify and eliminate supplier-caused quality issues through root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.5. Cross-functional Coordination Act as the SQM contact in cross-functional teams, collaborating with purchasing, design, and manufacturing departments.🧪 European Adhesive Specialist (EAS) – Siemens Mobility:The EAS certification is highly relevant in areas involving bonding technologies, especially in rail vehicle interiors and metallic structures.Typical Responsibilities:• Adhesive Process Oversight: Ensure proper selection, application, and curing of adhesives used in interior and metallic components.• Training & Supervision: Train and supervise personnel involved in adhesive bonding processes.• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure bonding processes comply with DIN 6701 / EN 17460 and other European standards for adhesive bonding in rail vehicles.• Failure Analysis: Investigate adhesive-related failures and recommend corrective actions.• Documentation & Traceability: Maintain detailed records of adhesive processes, materials, and inspections.
