ABOUT AKSHAY PATKE
Engineering professional with 7.5+ years of work experience in Product Design & Development, taking products from concept to launch, proficient in CATIA V5/6, GD & T, DFM and prototype manufacturing. I have obtained skills in DFMEA, DVP & R, Root Cause Analysis, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly. These skills are based on solid foundation of experience I gained throughout my career in high demanding, ever changing and time constrained automotive industry. I am also a Professional Mountaineer. In 2017, I climbed Mt Manaslu (8163m) 8th highest peak in the world and was part of Search and Rescue team member in 2015 Nepal Earthquake. I now work as a volunteer to promote Outdoor Education for school children. Through programs called Aavahan (Challenge) – Nirman (Making) – Udaan (To fly), through which I try to inculcate love for outdoors in young minds.
