Early Education and Interest in MathematicsAkshay’s mathematical journey began in high school at BASE PU College, where he pursued a PCMCs curriculum, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. This solid foundation led to an interest in computer programming, and Akshay soon explored languages like C++, Java, and Python. This combination of logic and creativity drew him toward the field of technology.Currently, Akshay is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mathematics and Computing at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. Here, he delves into the theoretical and practical aspects of both disciplines, solving complex mathematical problems with computational tools. His education has enabled him to seamlessly combine his love for mathematics with programming, preparing him for a future in both fields.Expanding into STEAM EducationAs his interest in technology grew, Akshay moved into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education. In August 2024, he joined RoboLectro STEAM Studio as a STEAM Educator, where he taught programs in Lego Robotics EV3, Wedo, and Python Programming.At RoboLectro, Akshay combined education and innovation, helping students build functional robotics projects, develop apps, and create games. These hands-on experiences sparked a sense of wonder in his students as they discovered how technology could be used to solve real-world problems. Akshay developed a yearlong training program for the Batch of 20••••25, where he taught students valuable skills that would serve them well in the future.Akshay’s passion for STEAM education is rooted in his desire to inspire the next generation of innovators. Watching his students grow in confidence and creativity as they build robots or develop apps is one of his greatest joys. For him, STEAM education is about making learning fun, practical, and impactful.
