This is where I first found the pattern.2016, Rajasthan. Installing solar thermal systems on factory rooftops. Every factory had the same problem: nobody knew how much heat energy they actually used. No baselines. No performance tracking. No way to prove what the installation actually delivered.80% of industrial energy is heat, not electricity. Almost nobody measures it properly. That measurement gap meant we couldn\'t prove ROI, which meant we couldn\'t scale, which meant good technology sat unused.CLIMATENZA scaled to tons of CO2 reduction. The hardware worked. But every deployment ran into the same wall: the data layer underneath the technology was broken. Baselines were guesswork. Impact proof was a fight. Replication to the next site required rebuilding the measurement from scratch.That experience is the reason everything I build now starts with the data infrastructure first. Not the algorithm. Not the dashboard. The measurement layer that makes everything else trustworthy.
