As a Resident Engineer at TRIGO, I provide on-site quality assurance, acting as the liaison between the customer and supplier.currently allocated location is Opel, Eisenach and working in multiple projects with suppliers including PVL, Maier, Foxconn, Webasto, Minth, Kostal and ACC. My primary role is to identify, document, and report quality issues within the production process and collaborate with both parties to develop and implement solutions. Key responsibilities include:Issue Identification : Prompt detection and documentation of defects or potential risks in supplied parts.Problem Solving : Work closely with the supplier’s quality management and the customer to resolve quality issues efficiently.Communication : Maintain transparent communication with both parties, ensuring that all incidents are addressed in a timely manner.Documentation : Thoroughly document all incidents, actions, and solutions in detailed reports, including monthly activity reports and service plans.In situations where defects require sorting or rework, finding the root cause and finding correct containment action, I facilitate communication between the supplier and third-party sorting companies, overseeing the process while maintaining compliance with the customer\'s expectations. My role also includes regular and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring timely submission and that reports are tailored to client requirements with detailed visualizations.
