About Akriti Gupta

I’m a final-year Information Technology undergraduate specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With strong foundations in Java (DSA) and Python, I enjoy solving real-world problems through machine learning and full-stack development.My projects include scalable full-stack applications built using the MERN stack, Flask, and frontend tools. I recently completed The Hive, a community platform for managing campus societies, and led the development of SmartShield, an AI-powered malware detection and secure image-sharing system. I had also built HomelyStays, a travel listing platform.During my internship at DRDO, I worked on a research project involving image-to-binary file conversion for enhancing data security in AI workflows. Prior to that, at BSPHCL, I developed an internal Power Consumption Dashboard for real-time energy analytics.I have consistently performed well in competitive environments, I’ve ranked among the top teams in Myntra Hackeramp, won 2nd place at IET Hackathon 2025, received the Technocrat Award at Excelsior’25, and contributed to GSSoC’25. I’ve participated in 20+ hackathons, often as a finalist, team lead or as a organiser.
