ABOUT AKRITI GANDOTRA

With over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, I specialize in strategizing, analyzing complex issues, finding solutions and leading from the front. I firmly believe that a skilled lawyer is domain agnostic, every brief/contract has its unique set of complexity and challenges and an interpretation of a sentence may require extensive research and a deep understanding of the minds in the business context. Experiences of which I have had at the law firms as well as in-house. As a versatile professional, I have been trained in the fields of litigation, dispute resolution, negotiating commercial transactions, M&A, private equity and overseeing investigations on whistleblower complaints. At the leadership role, I leverage on my expertise in taking and implementing some of the key business decisions coupled with a strong sense of accountability which helps me in achieving my full potential as a professional. In my current role as the General Counsel, I’ve been an integral part of some unique cases which have set precedent in the industry. I have also been instrumental in closing commercial contracts, undertaking legal due diligence in a potential acquisition and overseeing the work of the Ethics Committee.
