As Security Manager – Compliance, I lead a large and diverse team across Terminal 5, ensuring security operations are both regulatory compliant and operationally effective. My remit combines day-to-day operational oversight with compliance leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.Lead and develop seven active patrollers responsible for ensuring terminal security, escalating faults, and maintaining a safe, compliant environment.Manage a team of 12 Jetty Allocators, ensuring flights are swept and secured in line with DfT and CAA requirements, safeguarding both aircraft and passengers.Provide coaching and guidance to 16 Security Managers on shift, empowering them to handle operational escalations confidently and maintain compliance under pressure.Partner closely with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to uphold high compliance standards and ensure audit readiness.Drive performance improvement by analysing covert/overt testing results, audits, and regulatory observations, turning findings into practical, frontline-focused solutions.Support operational delivery across passenger screening, staff screening, fixed posts, control posts, and patrol duties, ensuring safety and efficiency are never compromised.Act as a key escalation point during incidents, leading reporting and embedding lessons learned into operational practice.
