6 years ago, I had no idea what coding is or what programming languages are, but after I decided to join a C++ course offered for high school students, I immediately fell in love with that world and what it has to offer. 6 months after I took that course, I was placed in the top 20 in the biggest competitive programming contest for students, the Jordanian Olympiad in Informatics.As someone who has been around diverse communities for four years now, I heavily appreciate diversity and how it can enrich the culture in so many aspects, and that\'s exactly one of the main things that make programming so unique. The diversity in its languages, tools, approaches is wide and always allows for personal and professional growth. So I always try to push myself further by learning more languages and exploring the different fields Computer Science has to offer. Such journey is accompanied by passion and love for what coding essentially is: problem solving. Over the past few years, I have familiarized myself during my academic journey at the University of Rochester with the vast ways in which a programmer would approach problem solving with the tool of coding. I couldn\'t be more excited of applying this knowledge with hands-on experience.
