I can’t say that I’ve always thought that Supply Chain would be my career path. It was only when I was in the business of plastic & aluminum profile lamination that I fully understood the importance of Supply Chain and its impact on every industry. From then on, my interest in SCM continued to grow due to the dynamic nature of the field. It is ever changing with technological advances and the global market dynamics. I’ve always been fascinated with process-improvement, and managing the flow of goods and services allows me to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to improve business operations.Today, I am managing various polymers and composites for the strongest company on earth that is dedicated to change the world and make sustainable energy available to anyone. Being part of this mission is solely a reason of proud and I am living this everyday when I jump into my Model 3 to drive to work! Knowing the fact that my efforts together with our great team will have an impact on 8 billion people’s present and future life is insanely exciting! Areas of Expertise- Procurement: strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, forecasting, logistics coordination, inventory management within manufacturing and distribution settings- Vendor Management: researching & sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes (to include evaluation of capabilities, prices, and terms and conditions), executing contracts (to include NDA/MDSA/SOW), and vendor on-/off-boarding- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate the risk in the end-to-end supply chain- Cross-functional collaboration: cultivating strong interpersonal relationships & building trust by following through on commitments and delivering on promises- Business acumen, corelating supply with sales & business development, adhering to international standards with general legal, financial & accounting issues.
