ABOUT AKIF KHAN

I\'m an industry analyst in Gartner\'s Cybersecurity and AI team covering topics related to identity and trust - identity assurance, preventing account takeover, deepfake detection, disinformation, and figuring out what identity means in the context of AI agents. I advise dozens of clients globally every week, perform research and publish insights, and speak at Gartner events. A scientist by training, my knowledge and experience prior to Gartner was obtained over twenty years in roles across strategy, innovation, consulting, product management, sales, and marketing – contributing most effectively at the intersection of these disciplines to drive revenue growth. Leadership skills developed through managing global and multi-functional teams in both blue chip companies and fast-paced start-ups across the digital payments and fraud detection space.
