As a Product Engineer II at BD, a leading global medical technology company, I apply my mechanical engineering and business analytics skills to design, develop, and test innovative medical devices that improve health outcomes and save lives. I have over 5 years of experience in the medical device industry, having worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer at Stryker and a Mechanical Engineer at Jabil, where I contributed to the successful implementation of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and the delivery of high-quality products to customers.    Led and managed the Change Control process for EU MDR Remediation and utilizing Agile methodology to close out four critical-to-program projects within a single calendar year collaborating with RA, PE, Manufacturing and Operations. Utilized SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD to create drawings for Chronic, Acute and Biopsy portfolio and fixtures. Reviewed Risk Documentation, updated DHR’s and DMR’s, moved in-process inspection to incoming and updated AQL Sampling plan to C=0 for pressure decay testing, reducing inspection time resulting in USD savings annually. Updated flowcharts and PFMEA’s for Chronic portfolio as part of EU MDR requirements. Updated the in-process testing requirements based on process capability documented during OQ/PQ using Minitab.
