   Taking lead on the ESG agenda of one of India’s fastest-growing financial institutions- Entrusted with the overall responsibility for ESG strategy, sustainability programmes, reporting & rating, sustainable finance, regulatory alignment, policy development and system implementation, and communications- Ensuring tech integration and ESG decision making through data management (ESG Controller)- Spearheading the Bank’s climate action through GHG emissions baselining, financed emissions management, and charting a Net Zero pathway - Helping Climate Risk Management - Actively heading sustainable finance - working with various stakeholders to build a book of green assets and liabilities - Representing the Bank at various national and international fora on ESG and Sustainability- Responsible for thought leadership on ESG, and all levels of communications on ESG (internal and external)- Responsible for ensuring best-in-class corporate reporting through various frameworks such as BRSR, IFRS Sustainability, GRI, Integrated Reporting, SASB and others. Ensuring all external assurances are done on time with auditors/partners- Quarterly internal reporting to the Bank’s Board and Management Committees- Responsible for ESG Ratings submissions and improvement across S&P (DJSI), CDP, MSCI, FTSE4Good, CRISIL etc.(Grew the Bank’s ESG Scores among Top three in Banking industry within two years - across all key ratings, including S&P, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics etc.)- Conceived and integrating all ESG efforts under the umbrella of FIRST ENSURE, the Bank’s ESG identity; and serving as its custodian- Monitoring and managing ESG goals and targets of the Bank- Management of ESG Team, Policies, Budget, Internal Audit, ORM and overall function administration.
