Accomplished Global expert on Food Safety and Quality. Straight from Campus into Coca-Cola and the other decade working with General Mills. Currently leading Food Safety and Regulatory for Global Emerging Markets (GEMs) BU at General Mills. Accountable for delivering long terms priorities across 90 emerging markets, building supplier partnerships, technical capabilities, nurturing and building global talent. Led “Quality by Design, Manufactured & Consumed” for snacking and baking platform across Asia, Middle East & Africa. Led the Quality Food safety ecosystem including developing and leveraging partner networks, internal and external stakeholder management, for design and launch new products as well as further building on the core.Also early days of career with General Mills have been instrumental in developing and building supplier partnerships. Cultivating and managing external supplier validation programs to ensure robust and a collaborative network. This involved collaborating with suppliers across India, Middle East, North & South Asia including driving the external supply chain networks through Audit, compliance and validation protocols. Managed and built large teams supported roll out of information interface systems for business management. Liaisoning with external regulators globally. Provided technical and regulatory leadership to teams across the globe. First few foundational years of my career spent with Coca-Cola initially as a Quality Trainee soon to take up manufacturing quality management roles that included accountability to run the largest bottling plant in India which included production lines for carbonated soft drinks, packaged drinking water and Hot Fill fruit Juices. Developed and implemented consumer & distributor response management program for western UP operations. Commercialised and validated the powder soft drink line from quality and manufacturing pov. Quality and Food safety support and compliance audits for the operations. All in all over two decades of in depth expertise in quality and regulatory aspects around the global markets.
