ABOUT AKHILESH GOYAL
Akhilesh Goyal is a research scientist at the Biomedical Engineering & Technology Innovation Centre (BETIC), in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay. He is leading a team focused on the design and development of patient-specific implants and surgical instruments.He earned his Ph.D. at IIT Bombay under the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF). His research focused on the fabrication and comprehensive assessment of fatigue and fatigue fracture behavior in Ti-6Al-4V ELI implants, with the goal of advancing patient care and improving implant outcomes.
