ABOUT AKHILA S KUMAR
I hold a BS–MS from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Trivandrum, where I specialized in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. My academic journey began in scientific research, focusing on hematopoietic stem cells in the murine spleen.Over time, my curiosity about human behavior and emotional well-being led me to pursue an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR. My training centered on individual and group therapy with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, along with research exploring the link between sexual behavior, motives, and attachment styles.Currently, I’m working as a psychologist, integrating my scientific background with therapeutic practice to offer evidence-based, compassionate, and reflective care. I’m deeply passionate about mental health awareness, emotional literacy, and helping individuals build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
