I am a Mechanical FEA Engineer with experience in analysis of upstream (Surface/Subsea/Shallow water) components predominantly Wellheads, Seals (metal and elastomeric) and Connectors. Currently working in Baker Hughes (GE Oil and gas), leading and managing a team of 4 people and supporting NPI initiative for Surface Pressure Control Business. Have led multiple projects to completion while ensuring timely delivery and quality with appreciation from managers across global locations. I did my masters in Structural Engineering (FEA) from BITS Pilani, a Tier 1 institute in India. Project types handled/managed: NPI / NPD FEA problems, field issue FEAs and OTR/ ITO engineering work requests. With more than 6 years of industrial experience carried out complex nonlinear analysis which involves material, geometric and contact based non linearities. Exposure of using API / ASME / ISO / DNV / NORSOK standards. Expertise in ANSYS Mechanical and Abaqus with exposure to APDL, Hypermesh and python scripting. Analysis types carried out: Linear/ Nonlinear Static, Implicit, Explicit, Buckling, Modal and Vibration analysis.
